Red dirt manoeuvres through the warm humid air,
Kangaroos hopping around, a great life they share,
The trees standing tall, guarding their land,
A family they are, they stand hand in hand.
As the fire burns and crackles at night,
We listen to the guitar, whilst the moon shines bright.
Twinkling stars, and the smell of dusk in the air,
A family we are, loving aussies that care.
Bright rays of sun, fill my tired eyes,
We all gather, to watch the beautiful sunrise.
The blue skies and red gravel are all I can see,
Living here my family can be happy and free.
Here all religions come, to live happily in peace,
Everyone is allowed to live their on lives, and believe their own beliefs.
Every person that steps foot on this land, then become part of our family,
Here in Australia, is where I’d rather be.
