Autumn

The colourful leaves maneuver down, one by one,
As the trees are awaken by the morning sun.
After a dreadful summer, the temperature drops,
Whilst autumn is waiting, above the tree tops.

The cold breeze hits you, a shiver runs through,
A spark of winter is felt, which gives you a clue.
Around the corner awaits, the cold winter days,
Continuous rain, with no seen sun rays.

But, lets stick to the present, it is autumn right now,
Some sun, and some rain is what we allow.
Different coloured leaves, be it orange yellow or green,
Autumns love for peacefulness, shall not go unseen.

You can lay under a tree, and listen to the breeze,
A smile on your face, love is what we cease.
A book in your hand ready to be read,
Sitting on the park bench reading, is where you’re head.

Wind flows through us, in choreography we dance,
Our strength over the days is what we enhance.
We stand there, still, guarding the people upon the land,
One family we are, we stand hand in hand.
