As I am flying high being called to action,
Everyone stops to watch me and my beloved attraction.
Pearly white I am smooth and light,
A symbol of peace is what I delight.
Whilst the sun shine upon me, glitter in their eyes,
The gun fires are now silenced, never to take me by surprise.
I soar through the skies, flying into bubbles of clouds,
Looking down at the people; the hopeful crowds.
Visions of beauty, I had never seen before,
People release me as a promise, to the future wanting more.
I swoop down, lowering my wings, paying my respects,
Ensuring peace shall be delivered, without any regrets.
Children must now, take the future in their hands,
Diversity and difference must come together, removing boarders from lands.
History is a lesson, that shall never be repeated,
No man’s woman’s or child’s life, should ever be cheated.
Now after the war, we all declared peace,
And that my friend’s, means all wars shall cease.
All of this drama, shall be remembered as the past,
As presently we are raising, our flags to half-mast.
We will now pay our respects, as one we come together,
Whilst our fortunate lives, shall remain forever.
We are lucky to live here, lucky indeed,
We will remember them who fought in the war, while we lay our beautiful wreaths.
Bowing our heads, during one minute of silence,
A promise to our future, to never welcome such violence.
Glance up to the sky, and watch me glide above,
I am your symbol of peace, I am your white dove,
And children don’t forget, the future you are,
Join with me, to spread the word, wish it upon the star’s,
Lest We Forget
